DJ Khaled and Fat Joe have long been buddies. Fat Joe disclosed in a birthday card shared two years prior that the two have been pals for nearly thirty years.
That still holds true today, as DJ Khaled attended Fat Joe’s book launch at the Miami Book Fair in support of him. He even extended an invitation to take a ride in Miami, Florida, which was undoubtedly in a Rolls-Royce.
Rapper Fat Joe from New York is an avid admirer of the British high-end automobile maker, having owned a Phantom and two Cullinans. Since he is the owner of both models, DJ Khaled concurs.
Khaled’s opulent Rolls-Royce Phantom, complete with a Starlight Headliner, red leather seats, and a sophisticated black paint job, served as their transportation.
Dubbed “the most silent motor car in the world,” the Phantom boasts opulent features that make for an extremely comfortable ride, including a drink cabinet located in the rear center console.
The Phantom fulfills all requirements in terms of performance as well. Under the hood, Rolls-Royce installed a 6.75-liter V12 twin-turbocharged engine from BMW that produces 563 horsepower (571 ps) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. This power is transferred to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automated transmission.
The Phantom offers a smooth ride, but it also has a big adrenaline factor—it can accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour (97 kph) in 5.1 seconds, with a maximum speed cap of 155 mph (250 kph).
And it’s just what DJ Khaled and Fat Joe need to feel like their greatest selves.
