In 2021, Victoria Markovich, a 27-year-old resident of the Volgograd region, captured the nation’s attention by giving birth to quadruplets, adding to her already bustling household of six children. Before the arrival of the “star quartet,” Victoria and her husband were raising two beautiful girls, Christina and Yulia.
This case is truly exceptional. In the Volgograd region, it marks the second instance in the last five years where a woman has given birth to quadruplets. In 2016, a mother from Kalmykia, who came to deliver at the Volgograd Regional Perinatal Center No. 2, also welcomed four bundles of joy into the world.
Managing a household with six children, four of whom are still very young, may seem daunting to many, but for Victoria and her husband, teamwork is key.
