Meet Petey, the puppy who was abandoned to die in a park with his brother because he was different. A woman from Sacramento, California, saw the puppies while she was walking her son home from school and immediately took them to the vet. They were hungry, lethargic and cold as ice. Unfortunately, Petey’s brother passed away upon arrival at the clinic, but Petey decided to fight for his life.
However, Petey remains a playful dog: “He’s mischievous, curious and silly,” said Westphal-Thomson, the dog’s adoptive mother. “He is also very confident and likes to meet new people…”
He learned to feed himself and loves to run and cuddle. The abandoned pup was soon adopted by a loving couple who absolutely adore him and will never leave him because he is different.
