* Russian miners have discovered an object that was buried in the shape of a UFO, about 200 kilos and 1.2 meters in diameter.

* The discovery of the strange object occurred very close to the Russian city of Belovo, located in the Kuznetsk basin.

* The miner Artur Presnyakov, has clarified that previously in that same place the tusks of a mammoth were found.

Recently in the Kuznetsk Basin of   Siberia  , Russia  , miners found an ancient stone object that appears to be a model of a flying saucer style UFO.

Located in southwestern  Siberia  and covering 27,000 miles, the  Kuznetsk Basin   is one of the largest coal mining areas in the world.

The place where the strange stone object was found is owned and operated by the  Kuzbassrazrezugol mining company .

A team from the company dug to a depth of 40 meters and found two stone saucers.

One broke off while being removed but the second reached the surface intact.

The stone saucer is an almost perfect circle with a diameter of 1.2 meters and weighs about 200 kilos. Boris Glazkov , the man who found the objects, was puzzled.

Boris said:

“I have to say it wasn’t hard to see as it was really distinctive and large in size. I’ve never seen anything like this object, which is obviously man-made, here in the middle of nowhere before. It’s a real mystery.”

Archaeologists have been brought in to analyze the ” stone UFOs “. So far, no explanation has been found.

The depth at which they were found (40 meters) is deeper than the depth where the mining company normally finds mammoth fossils (25 meters), suggesting that they are more than  10,000 years old.

Were they made by human beings ? If so, what were they trying to describe ? Some think it is most likely a scale model of the  UFO , as a full-size stone statue would weigh tons.

While there does not appear to be any carving or writing on the object, it is similar in size and age to the  Dropa stones  – the engraved circular discs found near  Tibet  believed to be a record of extraterrestrial visitors.

Is it a statue of an ancient spaceship? A message from an alien civilization telling us they were here? Or is this stone UFO something else?
