When our   favorite  neighbor is a sweet dog,  the surprises we can get every day can be endless, as well as adorable.

But sometimes, some scenes can alarm us at first, and it is not until we investigate a little that we know that behind them is the  innocence of these creatures that we completely fall in love with.

Jessica Renee Silvey  and her family were  surprised by the snout of an exquisite dog that was peeking through the hole in the  backyard fence.

They were all enjoying a day at the family pool, at Adrienne Anderson’s house, her sister, when the furry girl decided to catch their attention… And boy did she succeed!

Jessica walked over to investigate what it was about and noticed that the mystery dog  ​​was holding a ball, and as soon as she got close enough she dropped the ball at her feet.

“You can’t ignore a dog who drops the ball at your feet and walk away like it’s nothing,” Jessica added.

Jessica picked up the ball and threw it over the fence, and thus began the fun game between her and the mysterious dog, who without planning it, in a matter of moments were having a good time together.

When he saw the neighbor’s dog’s snout through the hole in the fence, he was alarmed.

After talking to her sister Jessica, she learned that  the dog’s name is Harper,  and that this furry friend has been playing fetch through the fence with the family since they moved.

“We were so happy when we realized we could play with Harper over the fence,” Adrienne said.

When Harper’s parents realized she had made friends with the neighbors, both families exchanged numbers, and  now love to send each other messages talking about Harper and her antics.

Harper is the single topic of conversation and the bridge between both families.

“We had just moved that December and hadn’t met Harper’s owners until we started playing with her,” Adrienne added.

The hole in the fence where Harper waits for her playmates was definitely her doing, but of course, no one has any plans to fix it.

The ingenious dog knew the perfect strategy to capture the attention of her neighbors… And she did it!

“It’s an unspoken rule that will never be fixed,” Jessica said.

Harper’s parents also love to play fetch with her, but since they can’t play all day,  this witty dog ​​relies on her neighbors to fill those bored moments with her favorite game.

Every time Harper hears her neighbors leaving, she doesn’t hesitate to run to the fence where she waits for them to play.  This dog knows that her friends next door can’t resist her invitation to fetch the ball.

When Adrienne’s family has guests over and they discover Harper they are always delighted,  it’s like the best party trick of all time.

“My 5-year-old daughter played a little, my sister and her son too. “She was pretty much active all day,” Jessica said.

Harper’s main goal in life seems to be to play with as many people as she can catch with her snout in the hole, which no one can resist.

It is a tender story of how a  dog, with her innocence and sweetness,  has managed to be the reason for many people’s days, and give adults and children moments of healthy fun, which perhaps were already forgotten.

Her neighbors are more than happy to help her with her fun proposal and we are also contemplating her great story.
