Let me introduce you to Picky, a tiny Chihuahua from Compostela, Nayarit, Mexico. He has become a social media sensation due to his courageous defense of his home against an intruder armed with a menacing pitchfork, a tool typically used for tilling the soil.

This brave little dog’s actions serve as a testament that even those who may feel weak have the power to stand up against injustice.

When the intruder stealthily entered the house, it took hours before Picky was discovered. He was found with his body trapped between the tines of the pitchfork. He was immediately rushed to an emergency veterinary clinic, where dedicated veterinarians worked tirelessly to save his life.

Upon arrival at the veterinary center, doctors were astonished to find the pitchfork still embedded in Picky’s body. The object had pierced through his spine, one of his limbs, and even a testicle. Luckily, none of his vital organs were harmed by this deadly weapon.

“One of the pitchfork’s prongs had pierced from the spine to one testicle, and others had gone through his leg. Fortunately, none of them had punctured a vital organ. After the surgery, we anxiously waited to see how he would react since the infection was extremely dangerous.”

This courageous animal spent a whole week at the clinic, receiving close observation and care from a dedicated veterinarian to ward off infections. Thankfully, he emerged triumphantly and was joyfully reunited with his family at home.

After much contemplation, the family decided to report the attacker of their Chihuahua to the police so that justice could be served.
