The uncontrolled tears of a heartbroken pit bull left by his family at a shelter is truly the most heartbreaking thing to see.
Puppies are very loving beings that brighten anyone’s life, and the place where they are truly happy is their home with their loved ones.
They will do whatever it takes to give their owners beautiful moments of tenderness and fidelity, which is why when a dog is separated from its human parents, its heart is completely devastated.
When the reason is that the animal came to its end due to natural causes, its owners will be left with a void in their souls. But, sadly, other times, they decide to get rid of their pets for no apparent serious reason, they just get tired of them and abandon them to their fate.
Leaving a pet aside seems to be a more than common custom in some families without values, an act of cruelty against a creature that for years took care of everyone in the home and was the most faithful.
It is in these cases, when the animals do not understand what they did wrong to be abandoned like this, and then they remain sad and even crying, heartbroken.
This is the story of a pitbull who cried non-stop when he didn’t understand why his family got rid of him.
Puppies are undoubtedly the most loyal animals and more than one human has a lot to learn from them. That’s why we hope that Blue King ‘s story helps raise awareness.
This little friend went through a bitter episode in his life.
This pitbull lived with his family in California (United States), but a change of city led these people to get rid of the poor little animal.
In order not to leave him unprotected, the owners decided to take him to the local Carson Shelter , and leave in the hope that someone else would take care of the poor dog.
What seemed good to his humans was a cause of sadness for this little dog.
The family left peacefully but the same did not happen with the sensitive Blue King, who could not understand how his parents had left him in that place full of strangers and had not come back for him.
The dog did not know that he had been abandoned.
Like most furry dogs who go through this experience, the pitbull showed his sadness and anguish from the first moment, but there was something that simply surprised all his caregivers: Blue King was so devastated that he couldn’t stop crying.
Real tears flowed from his pitiful little eyes and it was inevitable not to feel sorry for him.
Although many furry dogs suffer in this life, few really cry to show their sadness. Moved by their plight, activists from Saving Carson Shelter Dogs decided to intervene.
The shelter where this furry dog was left uses the practice of sacrifice to control the number of dogs in the place, so it was feared that death would be Blue’s fate if he did not find a family soon.
For that reason, volunteers published a video of the puppy to find him a home.

Thanks to that, Jennifer McKay found out about the case and traveled to the shelter to meet the little animal. At first, the matter was very difficult.
“He looked very sad and depressed. He couldn’t even look at me. All the other dogs were making eye contact and wagging their tails, but he couldn’t get up. He couldn’t look at me. He was very sad,” Jennifer recalled.
The woman fell in love and wanted to take the dog home, but first it was necessary for Blue to pass a temperament test.
During the week that the process lasted, Jennifer visited the dog to gain his trust, but it seemed that the dog only wanted to see his old family.
“You could tell that every time someone passed by, it was as if they were looking for them. It’s like he knew they had left him there,” she said.
When the shelter gave permission for Jennifer to take Blue King, the woman was surprised by the radical change that the little animal made.
As soon as they opened his cage he was grateful to the human who had decided to become his new mother.
This was a new beginning and Blue seemed to understand it very well.
At that moment the little dog made a radical change and all his sadness was transformed into a lot of love and energy, because Blue turned out to be quite playful.
«He kind of tricked me. He expected to have a relaxed and calm dog, but as soon as the kennel doors opened, he was very excited. And he loved traveling in the car. “He wanted to stick his head out the window,” McKay said, laughing.
Fortunately, Blue did not have to spend much time in the shelter, but enough time to show how broken his heart was due to the abandonment of his family.
His story had a happy ending and although it happened a couple of years ago, his tears and suffering are still present on the faces of other furry people who are going through a similar situation today.
