In a small Shia village, the tranquility of everyday life was shattered by an act of cruelty that shocked the man with a heavy heart. He witnessed with horror the rickshaw puller dragging his  dog by the neck, seeking some kind of compassion. Anger and indignation gripped the man, who did not hesitate to call the local shelter for help.

The  dog, terrified and helpless, could only seek refuge at the entrance to try to warm himself. However, his father, oblivious to the suffering that was causing him, threw him out into the cold without any kind of regard. The image of this small, helpless, wounded and abandoned being was heartbreaking.

The rescue team, alerted by the call for help, arrived at the scene hoping to be able to provide help to the dog. The scene that met their eyes was devastating: the man who mistreated the animal still had some kind of remorse.

With speed and determination, the team intervened to prevent the dog from suffering further harm. After negotiating with the heartless owner, they managed to buy the dog for a small price, around $30. The dog, visibly devastated and still suffering from abandonment, showed the consequences of the inhumane treatment he had received.

Once rescued, the dog was taken to a medical clinic for medical attention and a complete check-up. The once hungry and abused soul was now safe, surrounded by love and care. The  dog’s recovery, even though he was still alive, was evident.

The story of this rescued dog is a touching example of the importance of human intervention in situations of animal abuse. Thanks to the quick and decisive action of the rescue team, the dog was able to escape a life of suffering and abandonment. Now, with the possibility of a new life full of love and care, the dog will finally be able to experience the happiness that was granted to him by his former owner.
