Pregnancy and childbirth are always considered a woman ‘s “natural duty” . However, sometimes that duty is seen as an automatic responsibility and people unintentionally forget the pain, hardship, and sacrifice the mother had to accept to welcome the little angel into the world.
That’s why the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (IAPBP) has organized an annual birth photo contest to honor a woman’s sacred “passing” moment. Photographers will submit their works into specific categories such as: Labor, birth, postpartum, birth details and 48 hours after birth. Behind every photo is a touching and meaningful story for every family welcoming a new member.
In particular, in 2020, the whole world had to cope with the epidemic, so home birth photos dominated. The overwhelming happiness of successfully welcoming a little angel into the world radiates from each photo as a word of comfort and encouragement to everyone that no matter how difficult life is, the future will definitely be better.
