The top 10 highest paid actors of 2023 have been revealed, but according to the list released by Forbes, only two women made the cut.
Men dominated the chart, taking out all but the second and sixth places, and the fellow in the top spot is guaranteed to surprise you.

10. Denzel Washington: $39 million

Denzel Washington sits at number 10 on the list, raking in US$24 million (NZ$39m) in 2023.
His biggest project was The Equalizer 3, which released nine years after the original flick in 2014.
9. Ben Affleck: $61 million
Plenty of Ben Affleck’s income came from producing movies.

Ben Affleck brought home a US$38 million (NZ$61m) paycheck last year, his biggest acting credit coming from The Flash film, though plenty of his income came from producing movies – not just starring in them.

He used to be one of the biggest actors in Hollywood, and even though Leonardo DiCaprio has taken a backseat in recent years he’s still raking in the big bucks.
In 2023 the Academy Award-winner made US$41 million (NZ$66) producing and starring in several flicks, including Killers of the Flower Moon.
7. Jason Statham: $66 million (tie)

He seems to be proof that action films really do pay the bills.
