Blue Tit

The Blue Tit, also known as the Blue Tit, is a species of bird in the family Paridae. It is easily recognised by its golden-blue plumage. The male has a spot on the head that reflects ultraviolet light, which he displays to the female by ruffling the feathers on the back of his neck. This species is sedentary and non-migratory, common and a common breeder throughout Europe and western Asia in temperate and subarctic deciduous or mixed forests with a high proportion of oak. They usually nest in tree holes, although they are easily adapted to nest boxes where necessary. The main competitors for nests and foraging are the much larger Great Tit. The Blue Tit prefers insects and spiders. Outside the breeding season, it also feeds on seeds and other plant-based foods. The Blue Tit is known for its skill in clinging to the outermost branches of trees and hanging upside down when foraging.

Still Tern

Inca Tern – The Inca Tern is a species of seabird in the Laridae family. This seabird lives mainly in the waters of Peru and Chile. They have grey feathers, orange legs and bills, and are distinguished by two rows of white whiskers extending from their bills. Currently, there are only about 150,000 individuals left due to severe habitat threats. Inca Tern breeds on cliffs. They build nests in hollow burrows or sometimes old nests of Humboldt penguins, and lay one or two eggs. The eggs are incubated for about 4 weeks, and the chicks leave the nest after 7 weeks.

Gouldian Finch

The Gouldian Finch is a bird endemic to Australia, belonging to the family Estrildidae. Also known as the Seven-Colored Finch, this bird was first discovered in 1845 by the British naturalist John Gould. For various reasons, the 20th century has seen a rapid decline in the number of Gouldians in the wild. Scientists estimate that only about 2,500 adult birds remain in the wild. Therefore, in 1992, it was classified as an endangered species according to the IUCN criteria C2ai.
