Despite all the difficulties, Duncan the dog always lives optimistically and happily.
No one thought that the weak little dog could recover so quickly after the major surgery, but just 1 hour later, Duncan bravely got up and practiced standing and walking in front of the astonished eyes of the care staff.
With extraordinary willpower, Duncan does not even need any support equipment to move. The care staff designed 3 wheel chairs to replace Duncan’s hind legs, but all 3 times the little dog refused.
Even though he only has two front legs, Duncan still trains to be able to run and walk just like a normal dog.
Due to his physical disability, Duncan often faced health problems such as tendonitis, metabolic disorders, and cardiopulmonary disease. There were two times when his condition worsened and Duncan stopped breathing, but after receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the brave dog defeated Death and returned from the brink of death. It is known that only 3% of dogs that have received cardiopulmonary resuscitation survive.
Despite having a disabled body and poor health, Duncan is a living proof that joy and happiness are not determined by circumstances, but lie in our own thoughts and attitudes towards life.
Duncan’s optimistic and cheerful attitude towards life has inspired millions of people.
Not wanting to be tied down to assistive wheels, Duncan preferred to stand on his own two feet.
The little dog not only has extraordinary will to live, but also has a warm heart full of love.
