She has a bloated stomach. They initially believed it to be a large tumor.
They pushed her quickly to the vet. The ultrasound revealed that she is carrying two twins. She was in discomfort and making an effort to hold on to life for her puppies.
She needed surgery right away. Only one puppy was saved, despite the fact that the surgery was successful.
The mother dog, who is still extremely frail and receiving treatment at the vet, is being looked after and having milk pumped.
