Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah Riddlesprigger are getting married this weekend. The ceremony will be private, according to USA Today’s Drake Bentley. However, a few stars are expected to attend the event, including the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron James.
Bentley reported that James, tennis legend Serena Williams and soccer icon Kylian Mbappe were invited to the wedding. The wedding will be a three-day event, from Friday to Sunday (Aug. 30 to Sept. 1), at Costa Navarino, located in the southwest of Greece.
Further details about the wedding weren’t shared with the public, keeping it exclusive and private. Brook Lopez’s wife, Hailee, posted photos of her vacation in Greece, which featured Riddlesprigger in a white dress, similar to a wedding dress.

Other Milwaukee Bucks players and front office members were invited to the wedding. Bentley also reported that the couple expected around 200 guests to attend the event. The reporter also detailed that their Friday event will feature a “hybrid ceremony” by the beach where the two will commit to each other. Additionally, no religious influence will play a part during that part of the wedding.
Bentley shared that Nigerian references will be featured on the second day. The Bucks star is of Nigerian heritage, given that his parents are from the country. The actual wedding will happen on the third and final day.
The couple has been together since 2014. They have three kids: Liam, Maverick and Eva. They were engaged less than a year ago.
