Josh Hart roasts Jalen Brunson with ruthless ‘big forehead’ jokes on talk show
Ex-Villanova Wildcats and current New York Knicks players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart are great friends and often have hilarious light-hearted moments together. The two have been known to rag on each other every now and then with Hart as the instigator, especially on their podcast, ‘The Roommates.’

Their hilarious banter was showcased to a different audience when they appeared as special guests on the Sept. 19 episode of ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers.’ During their guest appearance, Seth Meyers asked Hart about the different nicknames he had for Brunson.

After Hart shared one of Brunson’s nicknames, Meyers pivoted and asked Hart about the things he’s teased his teammate about.

“The size of his head,” Hart replied. “That’s the first one. It was funny ’cause your son had the bobblehead and ‘Bobblehead Brunson.'” [3:22 mark]

Seth Meyers then chimed in with his own anecdote to add context. He stated that when he brought his son to a Knicks game, it was bobblehead night. Meyers shared that they got a Jalen Brunson bobblehead and now, every time his son sees Brunson score, he says “Bobblehead Brunson.”

Meyers said that he shared this story with Josh Hart before apologizing to Brunson for it.

Hart piled on to the joke by saying that typically when bobbleheads are made, the size of a person’s head is exaggerated. However, he joked that for Brunson, the head’s size was already spot on.

Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson were teammates in college and were reunited on the Knicks after the front office traded for Hart. They also added another former Wildcat when Donte DiVincenzo signed with the team ahead of the 2023-24 season.

This past summer, they also added their former college teammate Mikal Bridges in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Josh Hart once joked that he would hit Jalen Brunson on the head to stop him from scoring

Their appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ wasn’t the first time that Josh Hart had publicly joked about Jalen Brunson‘s head.

Earlier this year, Brunson was being interviewed by Ashley Nevel. During the interview, Brunson was prompted to call Hart to find out how the Knicks forward would guard him.

Hart picked up the phone and was in the process of answering but his initial response was cut off. Hart was asked to repeat what he said and they finally heard him talk about how difficult it would be to contain Brunson due to his array of moves.

Brunson complimented his teammate for providing a mature answer to which Hart replied that his initial answer wasn’t heard due to being cut off.

This led Jalen Brunson to ask what his initial answer was to which Josh Hart replied that he’d just “smack” Brunson’s big head. (26:33)
