Nashville Predators forward Jonathan Marchessault’s wife Alexandra reshared a post from Donald Trump’s Instagram account that compared the USA’s economic indicators between his presidency and the administration under Joe Biden and candidate Kamala Harris.

The post highlighted inflation, gas prices, mortgage rates, and average rent costs during Trump’s final day in office versus under Harris.
It showed inflation was 1.4% during Trump versus 9.1% under Biden and Kamala Harris. Average gas prices were $2.39 versus $5.02, mortgage rates were 2.8% versus 5.5% and average rent was $1,419 versus $1,739.

Jonathan Marchessault and his wife Alexandra opened up about their relationship and family life. The couple first met when Jonathan was playing in Hartford during his early career. Though living far apart, they forged a connection that led to love.
“We’ve known each other since my first year in Hartford,” Jonathan said during YouTube documentary VGK Origins. “We got to know each other there, long distance, and she was on a trip with her friend in New York, and we met up, and the rest is history.”
Alexandra reminisced on taking a chance to visit Jonathan while he was playing in Hartford one day.
“One day, he was playing in Hartford, I decided to just risk it, you know, why not? I don’t know what I was thinking and I don’t know if I would do it again today but it ended up being really fun and we just had a good time” Alexandra said.
Jonathan Marchessault mentioned that they had discovered love very quickly together.
“We’ve obviously found love super quick together and it was like easy and we’re like oh we want to be like young parents and I remember we’re like, well, we’re gonna spend the rest of her life together so why not start now.” Jonathan said.
Now happily married with four children, the couple seems content with how things turned out.
