Jennifer Lopez is reportedly in talks to buy a famous $55 million Los Angeles mansion, next door to the property Sean “Diddy” Combs is selling for $61 million.
The “Selena” star is “close to closing a deal” on the 30,000-square-foot property, which once belonged to late BCBG founder Max Azria, TMZ reported Wednesday.

Sources told the outlet that Lopez is trying to negotiate the price to somewhere between $30 and $39 million, which would represent a discount of up to 45 percent.
The Azria Estate, located in the Holmby Hills neighborhood, was put up for auction in May, and billionaire investor Ron Burkle won it with a bid of $30 million.
However, Burkle has filed a lawsuit against Azria’s widow, Lubov Azria, for an alleged breach of contract, The Real Deal reported earlier this month.

Lopez, 55, is now trying to negotiate with Burkle, 71, and Lubov, 56, to become the new owner of the home, according to TMZ.
The mansion has 14 bedrooms, a conservatory, a guest house, an infinity pool with a sauna, a home theater, and a game room. It sits on a three-acre lot that comes complete with gardens.
The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer filmed scenes at the Azria Estate for her movie “Atlas,” which premiered on Netflix in May.

However, the 38,000-square-foot home is back on the market as the “Gigli” castmates go through a divorce.
A source recently told People that Lopez was never a fan of the mansion, claiming it was “Affleck’s idea and a huge compromise for her.”
“She agreed because of the spacious layout, which accommodates both families, a gym and pickleball court, office space, and two private entrances,” the source told the magazine earlier this month.
