Introducing ‘Colossal Canine’ – A Blue Great Dane Measuring 7 Feet Long, Potentially Claiming The Title Of World’s Tallest Dog-picasso

Could this be the newest addition to the list of the world’s tallest dogs? With a height of almost 43 inches from paw to shoulder and an impressive weight of 245lbs, meet George – a blue great dane who resembles a miniature horse more than a dog. The photos were taken in the parks of Tuscon, Arizona where George roams.

Dave Nasser and his beloved pet, ‘Giant George’, are often found lounging on the couch together. This massive blue great dane is only four years old, but already weighs a mind-boggling 245lbs and stands almost 43 inches tall at the shoulder. George has a peaceful demeanor, earning him the nickname of the “gentle giant”. His length from nose to tail measures a whopping 7 feet and 3 inches, which could position him as a potential record-breaker. Gibson, the former record-holder, sadly passed away from cancer last August. Guinness World Records is currently reviewing George’s information to determine if he is the new titleholder. Dave notes that George is incredibly unique, measuring precisely 42.625 inches at the shoulder. The furry giant eats about 110lbs of food each month and sleeps in a Queen Size Bed, all to himself. Dave and his wife, Christine, never imagined that George would grow to be so massive when they adopted him at just seven weeks old.

George is truly impressive as he measures over 7 feet long from his nose all the way to his tail and weighs a whopping 18 stone.

George the giant dog has grown so big that he now faces problems fitting into the back of his owner’s SUV. Additionally, his owners had to move him out of their king-sized bed as he outgrew it. Dr. William Wallace of the Buena Pet Clinic in Tucson, who witnessed the documentation for the Guinness record, stated that George is the tallest dog he has ever seen in his 45 years of working with giant breed dogs. Although David is rushing to get the necessary documentation into the Guinness records, other dog owners are coming forward and claiming the record. While waiting for the results, George is enjoying his newfound stardom and even has his own Facebook fan page and Twitter accounts. It seems as though the sky is the limit for this massive hound.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the size of George’s paws that make Dave’s hand look tiny in comparison. Speaking of George, there’s a possibility that he might just be the tallest dog in the world with his impressive 7ft-long body and blue great dane breed. What do you think?
