The birth story of Jes Hogaп, delivering her sixth baby (and first boy) in a hospital hallway, is truly remarkable. Every moment of this unique childbirth was captured on camera by her birth photographer, Taммy Kariп, allowing Jes to share her breathtaking experience with the world.

Jes described how her contractions began on July 18 and intensified through the early hours of the 19th. Despite hours of laboring in various ways, including in a tub and walking the halls of the hospital, nothing seemed to progress. Determined to have an intervention-free birth, Jes and her husband, Traʋis, decided to leave the hospital when contractions spaced out.

Over the next few days, Jes took it easy, spending time with her daughters and staying relaxed. When labor intensified early on Sunday morning, Jes realized it was time. Her water broke as she woke her husband, prompting a rush to the hospital.

In the midst of panic, Jes managed to notify the hospital of her imminent arrival and texted Taммy, who quickly responded that she would join them at the hospital. As they arrived, Jes screamed that the baby was coming, and Traʋis ran ahead to seek help.

Taммy spotted them and assisted Traʋis in getting Jes inside the hospital. Jes soon found herself delivering her baby boy, Maxwell, right there on the floor of the hospital hallway. Taммy captured stunning photographs of the entire scene, including nurses rushing to help, Traʋis supporting the baby’s head, and an ER nurse aiding in the delivery.

The miraculous part of this story was the presence of fate—a nurse who guided them through the birth was an OB nurse from another hospital, working part-time at the ER. Jes and Maxwell received excellent care after the birth.

Jes expressed immense gratitude to Taммy for capturing the incredible birth, emphasizing the importance of documenting such moments. She hopes her story will empower other mothers to view childbirth as an empowering experience rather than something to fear.
