Another mother has illustrated the reality of childbirth, sharing three photos of herself after giving birth to her quadruplets naturally in July.
In one of the photos, Natalie Maree from Roebourne in Western Australia is seen walking with her workout gear and lifted shirt, while in the other two, she changed the camera angle on her body and lowered her shorts to display her postpartum stomach.
“You are much more than your appearance… These photos were taken with less than a minute of difference,” wrote Natalie on her Instagram photo
Natalie was diagnosed with ‘unexplained infertility,’ called ‘anovulation,’ and required ovulation induction, or hormone injections to stimulate regular ovulation, before finally becoming pregnant with her daughter Kiki in 2018.
“Twins run in my family, and I had been told there was a small chance of a multiple pregnancy with this treatment, but I could never have anticipated what would happen next,” wrote Natalie for Kidspot previously.
‘When we had our first pregnancy ultrasound, I saw two sacs on the screen and started crying because I thought we were going to have twins. Kahm also started crying.
Natalie and Kahm’s quadruplets, Maioha Kahm (2.3 kg), Frankee Gee (1.92 kg), Marley Rose (2.2 kg), and Maddison Grace (2.1 kg), were born on July 21 in a matter of minutes
