Any ​​is the most loving and kind being that exists. It is not strange that many of these four-legged angels, when seeing other furry companions in trouble, even if they do not even know them, do whatever it takes to save their lives.

For this very reason, animal slaughter is perhaps one of the most evil and cowardly acts. But despite the enormous efforts of activists and animalists to have it punished with the harshness of the law, we sadly continue to witness how these little souls suffer.

One day I had a family, and today I wander adrift in loneliness and helplessness.

It was the sad episode that the hunter from Loco, in Verdée, France, witnessed when he was returning with his three dogs, like every Sunday, through the wooded area.

Suddenly, among his hairy selves, his behavior was totally out of the ordinary.

In this regard, the man said:

«I came back from hunting by the way I take it. When my dog ​​barked in the most horrible way, I was really desperate and knew I had to stop immediately.»

The cunning man knew clearly that another fellow sapien was in trouble.

“Whenever he does that, there’s something,” said the hunter.

And truly, the clever little dog was not mistaken. A little further on, in the middle of the forest, was the poor dog, tied to a tree with an iron chain.

His gaze begged for mercy

“He was thin, he was skinny but he was empty, and he was scared of Isia, Isis and Flipper, my three dogs. He was shaking, you could tell he was horned. But he didn’t move, he was very nice, but aggressive,” said Fréderic, the hunter.

The poor dog had been tied to the tree for several days, and was very horny, so offering to help him was not an easy task.

The hunter realized that the fact that he would not even let himself be touched meant that he had been the victim of repeated mistreatment by his previous owners.

His devastating look spoke of how hard life had been with him.

Poor little thing! Our hearts break just from thinking about what we had to suffer in the past and what we lived through all those days tied up, without food, without water, as if we were dealing with a criminal.

His little eyes revealed that he had already forgiven, but his fear was much stronger.

So the man, not knowing how else to help him – because getting closer was impossible – went to the Town Hall.

Specialized personnel went to the forest and took the little animal to the municipal kennel, where he was sure to be in bliss. But fortunately, everything changed when volunteers from the animal organization SPA took charge of his rescue. “But the person who did this doesn’t like animals,” Frédéric lamented. “We don’t do that to dogs, it just happens.”

Now the dog is in the SPA facilities, where it is fed, so that it can regain its weight and hydrate.

Unfortunately, his savior could not take care of thnce he already had three. But we hope that with luck he will find a home where he will truly love him, and that he will take care of erasing, with dedication and patience, all his fears of the past.

It’s much more than including them in the Christmas photo or telling friends that we havt’s about a special bond that is created when we look into their eyes and promise them that everything will change when we’re by their side, that they won’t return to the streets and, above all, that we will never break their little heart.

The sad case of this little dog who had the terrible luck of having the worst owners should stir up consciousness, but let’s forget that they are seven, and remember EVERYTHING.
