Surrendered in a state of extreme suffering, Serenity was also diagnosed with the all-too-common and often fatal parvovirus.

Despite her sad face and seemingly hopeless situation, Serenity’s story quickly spread across social media, capturing the attention and concern of animal lovers far and wide. Among them was Destiny’s Road Animal Rescue, located in Three Rivers, Massachusetts. Moved by Serenity’s dire condition and unwavering spirit, the rescue organization stepped in to help.
