LeBron James was recently seen being friendly with Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss, which caused some controversy.
Despite being unable to play due to ankle soreness, James sat next to Buss and Linda Rambis during a timeout, attracting attention from the internet due to their displayed affection.
Rachel Nichols, on FS1’s Undisputed, discussed the situation and suggested that Buss might have handled it differently in hindsight.
Nichols mentioned that LeBron’s bonding with Buss could potentially benefit him in contract negotiations.
While most of the internet jokes were tolerated, Nichols expressed disgust at Antonio Brown’s inappropriate tweet, which depicted Jeanie and Linda in a compromising position.
Keyshawn Johnson and Skip Bayless dismissed the significance of Brown’s remarks, but Nichols believed it was demeaning to Buss, who is the successful owner of a prominent franchise. However, it is unlikely that Buss pays attention to such tweets.
In retrospect, Nichols thinks Buss might have acted differently had she known the situation would go viral.
It is hoped that Brown’s tweet does not lead to any regret from LeBron, Buss, or Rambis, as it is merely another in a long line of outrageous tweets from him.
