As excitement for the college football Spring Game grows, WWE icon Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave fans a taste of entertainment last Saturday when the UFL season opened. As fans get enthused about the fresh vibes of the Spring league, Coach Primiere and his players prepare for the forthcoming Black and Gold Day on April 27.
The Buffaloes concentrate on intense training, paying special attention on enhancing the O-Line to rectify previous errors as they get ready for a stronger comeback in the autumn season. As anticipation for the returning players this season grows, Deniel Sanders’ trusted Unccle Neely prepares for a much-awaited Q&A session with fans on The Playhouse Show, all the while poking fun at “The Rock.”
Uncle Neely made a clever comment in response to a question concerning offensive lineman Tyler Brown (also known as The Rock of CU): “I don’t think Dwayne Johnson is gonna be playing center.” I believe he is preoccupied with the XFL USFL (now the UFL).
It is important to remember that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has a close relationship with Colorado and head coach Prime, even though Tyler Brown is expected to improve the offense this season. As a matter of fact, Coach Prime was there at last Saturday’s UFL Spring football season kickoff.
Coach Prime’s excitement for the UFL
Following the UFL opening, Coach Prime couldn’t contain his joy. Deion Sanders grinned broadly as he posed for a picture with Troy Aikman, his old teammate from the Dallas Cowboys, on his left, and The Rock on his right. The post’s caption was, “@ufl.” Much love to @troyaikman, @therock, and @danygarciaco. the Generals I encountered and all the other Significant guys & Women who made it possible for these young guys to pursue their aspirations of becoming PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL players. A few slots are reserved for our @cubuffsfootball #CoachPrime event.
