Dimka is the name of this beautiful protagonist , the little guy who was crippled  by his owner on a rainy night.  In the midst of this terrible situation, the little dog could only cry while trying to take refuge in the skies.

He was more and more scared, he was shaking from the cold, from fear or hunger . Or maybe it was a mixture of everything, this made him  eat little rocks and dirt  which later ended up making his condition worse.

 

 

Fortunately,  the local rescue group from Russia learned of his case  and quickly approached the location to provide him with all the help he needed.

If the situation affected the rescuers, it is difficult to understand  how something like this could do so much damage to anyone and be so defenseless .

 

 

When help arrived, the little dog clung to the skid, it was as if from that small space he wanted to isolate himself from the terrible reality he was experiencing.

After everything that had happened, it was difficult for him to trust people , so the rescuers had to be very patient to approach him if the dog felt even more overwhelmed.

 

 

After several fights, the rescuers managed to take him into their arms and take him to the veterinary clinic.

After a series of exams, he was able to determine that  he was about two months old, he was dehydrated and destrided, what worried his rescuers the most was that he had two goggles in his little body . These usually appear in wounds and ulcers.

 

 

It was necessary to act so early, in order to avoid that the larvae would continue to cause damage, otherwise they would cause more serious droughts.

Fortunately, Dimka was in good health, the vet cleaned his wounds and gave him  oral antibiotic treatment to help him heal completely .

 

 

The first few days were really easy, the little dog seemed submerged in his own way inside the kennel,  he came out of the kennel and was intimidated every time one of his handlers tried to approach him .

His caregivers were sad that it was possible that he had been mistreated by his neighbors.

 

 

Not only did he have to treat his physical wounds, he also had to treat his emotional wounds, these will take a little more time , but with a lot of love and patience he will get the little dog out of his shell.

With encouraging words and small gestures of love he will get Dimka to approach them. The video of his creators tells him:

He finally understood that those people only wanted to help him. Since then,  the little dog finished his treatment and received a lot of pampering .

 

 

Two months have already passed since her rescue and Dimka’s transformation is incredible . She now loves playing with other dogs from the shelter but above all having all the attention of her handlers.

“It’s already been known that people are nice, he likes to run and be petted all the time. If you don’t do it, she will bark,” she said of her caregivers.
