Before the debut of her upcoming film, “Madame Web,” Dakota Johnson graced the stage as the host of last night’s (January 27) Saturday Night Live, marking her second time hosting the show. She fondly recalled her first hosting gig, which occurred “right after the SNL 40th anniversary special,” as she mentioned in her opening monologue.

Johnson proceeded to reminisce about the anniversary special, recounting her memorable seating arrangement among a diverse group of individuals. She shared a photo from the event that featured Sarah Palin, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and surprisingly, a notorious former U.S. president.

“Take a look at who was sitting right behind me,” Johnson exclaimed as the screen zoomed in on Donald Trump. She continued, expressing her astonishment at how events had unfolded.

“It’s surreal to stand so close to someone who would later become the most influential figure in America,” she remarked.

However, Johnson’s reference wasn’t directed at Trump. Following this revelation, the screen focused on Taylor Swift.

In addition to this amusing monologue, Justin Timberlake made a brief appearance, delivering a risqué joke related to one of his popular songs. Former SNL cast member Jimmy Fallon also graced the stage, dressed as Barry Gibb, hinting at what was in store for the evening.
