Travis Kelce expressed gratitude to Taylor Swift for making the journey from Japan to Las Vegas to support him during and after his victory in the 2024 Super Bowl.
In a video posted by the NFL on social media, the couple shared an affectionate moment, embracing and kissing after Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs triumphed over the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25 to 22 in overtime.
Despite his achievement on the field, Kelce’s focus remained on acknowledging Swift’s dedication, expressing his thanks for her presence and effort, saying, “Thank you for the support. Thank you for coming. Thank you for making it halfway across the world. You’re the best, baby.”
Swift, also 34, reciprocated the affection, embracing Kelce and expressing her pride in him. “I can’t believe it. I can’t believe you. Oh my god,” she gushed.
During their interaction, Kelce paused to ask Swift her thoughts on the game’s excitement, to which she enthusiastically replied, “It was unbelievable.”
Fans, both of Swift and the Chiefs, flooded the comments section with admiration for the couple’s endearing exchange amid the Super Bowl excitement.
Swift’s journey to the game was remarkable, having completed a concert in Tokyo just one hour before boarding a jet for a 10-hour flight to Los Angeles. Thanks to the time difference, she had ample time to rest before continuing on to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl the following day.
In Las Vegas, Swift enjoyed the game from a VIP suite alongside friends like Blake Lively, Ice Spice, and Lana Del Rey, as well as Kelce’s family members, including his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, his brother, Jason Kelce, and his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce.
