Anthony Edwards showcased his inner singer during the playoff opener between the Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury. Edwards’ baby mama, Jeanie Robel, posted a video of the Timberwolves star on her Instagram story.

The Lynx did not disappoint as the Napheesa Collier-led squad grabbled their first playoff victory this season with a final score of 102-95. They started the game strong with a 32-19 run in the first quarter.

Collier delivered a stunning performance, recording 38 points, six rebounds and four assists to help her team secure a 1-0 lead in the series. Kayla McBridge also stepped up to support her team’s superstar. She netted 20 points, three rebounds and four assists.
Netflix releases ‘Starting 5’ documentary trailer starring Anthony Edwards
NBA stars Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum, Domantas Sabonis, Jimmy Butler and LeBron James will appear in Netflix’s latest basketball documentary, ‘Starting 5′. The trailer for the documentary was released on YouTube last week.
The trailer featured Edwards’ moments from last season where he was joking around and trash-talking his opponents. It also featured a glimpse of the time the Timberwolves star left a game against the Sacramento Kings early to witness the birth of his daughter, Aislynn.

‘Starting 5′ showcases the lives of the featured NBA stars during the 2023-24 season, covering both on-court and off-court events. The 2023-24 season was the best of Edwards’ career, where he and his team beat all odds to have an incredible run to the Western Conference Finals. Edwards averaged 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists as the core member of the squad.
The trailer has already garnered more than a million views. The series will premiere on Netflix on Oct. 9.
