Dogs are one of the most loyal animals, capable of showering you with υпcoпditioal affection. Not only are they loyal to the families they live in, but they also protect them.
A German shepherd recently rescued his owner from a robbery and nearly killed him in the process. The event occurred in South Africa when Gipo Wesel went for a walk with his dog, Dυke, according to Mail Oplipe.
A few minutes later, however, he saw a man approaching him with a knife in his hand. When Duke saw the thief, he began to criticize him. To stop him, the thief stabbed Duke in the head, severely beating her.
Duke, on the other hand, refused to back down, barking at the thief and scaring him before dying in a pool of blood. Wesel mistook his dog for dead until he realized that the warrior was still alive.
With the help of a friend, he took Duke to the Animal Welfare Society of Southern Africa (AWSSA). The knife blade miraculously missed Duke’s brain by inches, and the clinician’s veterinarian rescued him. Duke’s therapy was free since Wesel was unemployed and had very little money.
“Your love is very important, and being able to rescue Duke and return him to Gipo was absolutely fantastic,” the hospital specialists said.
