This strange creature was found on a beach in Canterbury, New Zealand . Immediately after its discovery, people here were very confused because they could not determine the “identity” of the animal. They even thought it was an alien creature.

The strange creature above has two legs, a tail, striated wings and a few spikes, spread wide. It is especially impressive when it possesses many small, sharp teeth. There is also a beak-like part, connected to the wings.

Hanna Mary and her mother were the first two people to discover the bizarre skeleton. She said, they were completely overwhelmed by such a “no one knows, no one knows” species.

“’ This is most likely the skeleton of an alien animal’. That’s exactly what I thought of when I saw the skeleton ,” she said.

Hanna Mary and her mother then brought this creature to someone who knew more about animals, hoping to unravel the mystery.

However, unfortunately, this person also seemed very confused. Finally, they had to share the photo on social networks, asking netizens for help.

After the image of the skeleton was posted, many people commented that the skeleton most likely belonged to a stingray. However, this idea was immediately rejected because netizens said that stingrays do not have bones, but only cartilage, and their bodies are shaped quite like a round disc.
