Caitlin Clark offers words of wisdom to former teammate Hannah Stuelke following her latest photoshoot
2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year award winner Caitlin Clark offered words of wisdom to former teammate Hannah Stuelke following Iowa’s recent Media Day. Clark and Stuelke played together for two seasons, with the latter entering her third year with the Hawkeyes.
In a post on her official Instagram account, Stuelke shared several images from the Media Day photoshoot. She’s coming off her second year, wherein she started in 32 out of the 35 games played. She averaged 14.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
“Blessed with another year? let’s get it,” Stuelke wrote in the captions.

In addition to Hannah Stuelke, Caitlin Clark also showed her support to her boyfriend Connor McCaffery. Clark remained in Indianapolis following the Indiana Fever’s elimination from the 2024 WNBA playoffs. She was at Hinkle Fieldhouse to watch Butler’s open practice.
McCaffery, who worked as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers last season, was hired to be an assistant coach by the Bulldogs. He will still be in Indianapolis and will likely be even busier considering the 2023-24 NCAA basketball season starts in early November.
Clark and McCaffery have reportedly been dating since April 2023 when they were still both playing for Iowa. McCaffery is the son of the Iowa men’s longtime basketball team coach, Fran McCaffery. At Butler, Connor will be coaching his brothers Patrick and Jonathan this upcoming season.
What are Caitlin Clark’s plans for the offseason?
Speaking to reporters following Game 2 of their first-round series against the Connecticut Sun, Caitlin Clark was asked about her offseason plans. Clark won’t be leaving Indianapolis anytime soon and is planning to take some time off, and possibly play some golf.
“Maybe play some golf. That’s what I’m gonna do until it becomes too cold in Indiana. So I got that. I’ll become a professional golfer,” Clark said. [H/T New York Post]
Despite their early exit in the 2024 WNBA playoffs, Clark had a successful rookie season that exceeded expectations. She won Rookie of the Year, while also breaking a handful of records including the single-season total assist record (337) and single-game total assist record (19).
