Gio picked up the puppy and took her to the vet clinic. Blaquita was in critical condition and needed immediate medical treatment. For the first few days, the entire team hoped she could endure all the pain and get through the worst storm of her life as a rescuer. Every minute and every second of her treatment counted!
A few days later, luckily for everyone, she was finally out of danger. Thanks to her amazing rescuers, Blaqqita managed to survive and fight the battle from a safer place. She found a beautiful foster home where she cared for her day and night. But she stopped receiving her treatments. Over the next few months, Blaqqita underwent physical therapy and massages, which she loved!
She even got a custom wheelchair that helped her walk and move around more easily. Every time she went to the clinic, she wagged her tail and greeted everyone with the sweetest smile. She was a real girl who resisted all the time, if she wanted to back down or give up.
Eventually, after twelve months of hard and difficult work, Blaqqita recovered from her past and blossomed into a wonderful little dog. Despite her disorder, she is now living the best life possible, far away from that garbage bag and life on the streets. Blaqqita is finally happy, and she absolutely deserves it!
Her story is a testament to the strength of the spirit, the capacity for recovery, and human compassion. Blaquita, despite everything she has been through, has not given up hope and has found a new home full of love and care.
