After 9 months and 10 days of being obedient in the mother’s womb, the baby finally cried out to the excitement and joy of the whole family. For any mother in the world, the moment her baby cries is the happiest and most meaningful moment that she will never forget. That moment of extreme pain was also a moment of boundless happiness. Tears and even physical pain cannot cover a mother’s happiness when she welcomes her healthy baby into the world.
Below are the photos that won high praise in the 2018 International Association of Birth Photographers (IAPBP) photo contest captured by photographers from many parts of the world.
The emotional photos truly capture the mothers’ painful labor moments. There is no need for flowery words or beautiful words, people are enough to feel the value of these meaningful moments.
Looking at all these photos, you will appreciate the women around you even more, who have endured so much pain and hardship to bring your baby to life.
Finally, my mother and I met each other. I hope my child eats well, grows up quickly, and is obedient in his mother’s loving arms.
Mom was in so much pain, so hard, and so happy when her baby cried when she was born.
“Come on, you can definitely do it!” – Those are the words of encouragement from husbands when they see their wives struggling in pain, with drops of sweat running down their faces exhausted from pain.
But then a smile will quickly appear on the parents’ faces when their baby cries.
No matter how long you carry your baby in your belly, your mother’s eyes will “open” when she sees your baby’s weight.
Your presence is the happiness of the whole family…
Hey baby, you know, there are no words that can describe my happiness when I have you.
Mom is in so much pain but still wants to touch you right now.
Please continue to be brave, courageous and open your arms of love to the whole world like the way you just came out of your mother’s womb. Behind me there will always be a mother, loving and protecting me for the rest of my life.
“It hurts a lot, doesn’t it? I wish I could suffer instead of your pain.”
Remember this moment, my child, to know how hard I worked…
Giving birth is happiness in the pain of a mother, so no matter how painful it is, she can still smile happily.

My baby has just been born and there are still many surprises…
Even though I got to the hospital, I still insisted on getting some fresh air quickly, so my mother had to lie down in the hallway.
These little feet will grow over the years and take you to the ends of the earth, but remember that mom is still here, waiting for you to return.
When you are born, you will be surrounded and protected in your mother’s arms. Be brave, child!
I will be as good as you, mom, and I will also love you like you love me.
“Baby don’t cry, I’m here, be strong!”.
