Caden Prieskorn’s wife Cali laughs out as fans claim to not know Ole Miss TE’s name: “Y’all know his name”
Ole Miss Rebels star tight end Caden Prieskorn made a name for himself as one of the best-returning players in his position in college football. So far, Caden nicknamed the “Dad of Ole Miss” has managed to guide his team to a 4-1 start in a season with a lot of expectations around the team.
Off the gridiron, a clip posted on Instagram asking Rebels fans who their favorite player was went viral with some fans referencing Caden by using his wife’s affiliation with him.
Prieskorn’s wife Cali was tickled by the fans claiming not to know her husband’s name reposting the clip on her Instagram stories with the caption:
“Cali Pries’s husband. BE FR y’all know his name,” Cali wrote.

How Cali and Caden Prieskorn got married
Cali and Caden Prieskorn moved to Oxford when the star tight end left the Memphis Tigers for the Ole Miss Rebels in 2022 via the transfer portal although they were not married then.
When Jerry Prieskorn, Caden’s father took ill last year and the couple got the bad news that he did not have much time left, Cali took the unusual step by asking her boyfriend to get married so that his father would witness their wedding before he died.
During an interview with the “Clarion-Ledger,” Cali revealed how she convinced Caden to get engaged and get married.
“I was like, ‘Caden, this is your dad, as much as I want him at your wedding, I want him to make it to one of his kids’ weddings,'” Cali said. “How amazing is it to see one of your kids be able to take that step in life?”
Caden Prieskorn and Cali got engaged on April 15, 2023, during the Ole Miss Rebels’ spring game and got married in July and his father was present to witness his son getting married.
In the interview, Cali revealed the importance of football to her husband and how good Caden Prieskorn was with people as a result.
“I think football saved Caden,” Cali, said. “As hard as that was, I think that if he didn’t have football, I just think that it would have been completely different. He gets it from his dad.
“They’re both really good. Jerry and Caden both, if you ever need anything, they’re gonna be right there, they’re gonna listen, they’re gonna help you in any way that they can. If anybody needs help, you know, they’re gonna be that person you go to.”
Jerry, Caden Prieskorn’s father passed on last year but he got to watch his son get married in Oxford.
