No birthday is complete without a cake with a candle on top. Your one wish for the year, how will you use it, what will you wish for? Maybe a new car or a vacation to Malibu, maybe a desire for world peace or infinite amounts of money? Well, we know what a man wanted, as his dream came true almost as soon as the candles were blown out.

A homeless man was seen hosting a humble birthday party for his two dogs, singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to them, giving them hugs and presenting them with cake, all while sitting on the steps of a public park, with no other means of shelter. But that will change soon.

One sunny afternoon, a man walking through a park in Bucaramanga, Colombia, saw a homeless man hosting what appeared to be a birthday party for his dogs. The man named Choco was sitting on the stairs next to his companions Shaggy and Nena, almost as if he was enjoying the evening sun, however, the party hats on the pup’s heads told a different story.

The viewer decided to capture the event on camera and we are so glad he did as what happened next is truly moving. Choco gave each of the sleepy pups some pets before revealing a small cake and candles. He then began to sing a version of ‘Happy Birthday’ to his two companions. It seemed like it was Shaggy’s birthday and Choco was throwing him a little party.

Two candles were lit on the small cake, the puppies carefully watched their owner’s actions, thinking about their wish.

During the song, the two candles were lit and Choco affectionately petted and clapped the puppies in celebration. Soon the candles were blown out and each dog received a kiss on their little puppy cheeks. The man then grabbed a small plastic knife with the intention of cutting the cake and the puppies finally began to gain more interest.

Candles were blown out and a wish was made while the pups received pets and kisses.

Choco then cut a slice for each of his companions before cutting one for himself, apparently getting excited.

Choco, of course, cut off the first pieces to give to his dogs, offering them each more from their own plate, and it’s hard not to get excited about the fact that the cake, candles, and party hats probably cost the man a lot. . money, but he still put in all that effort so that his friends could have the celebration they deserved. It looked like Choco was wiping away some tears.

Once the video was over, the man approached to ask some questions and it was revealed that they were homeless.

The man then watched the birthday boy finish his cake and leaned in to give him a hug. The other pup got more kisses later, as Shaggy snuck away and started nibbling on the rest of the cake. I can’t say he wouldn’t do the same.

After finishing the video, the filmer approached Choco to ask him about his life and offer help. It was revealed that Choco had spent the last few years living on the streets after escaping an abusive home. Despite the difficulties, he had made sure that Shaggy and Nena were always taken care of to the best of his ability.

After fleeing an abusive home, Choco found comfort in Shaggy and Nena, who would become her new family.
