Chelsea Stipe and her husband have an older Golden Retriever named Charlie. He is 11 years old and due to glaucoma, he recently had both eyes removed. She definitely affected the way Charlie went about his daily life, as he gets tired and disinterested easily. Hoping to get Charlie back to his happy and cheerful self, Stipe came up with the idea of ​​adding a new dog to her family.
They got a new Golden Retriever puppy named Maverick, and he instantly hit it off with her new, elderly friend Charlie. The two dogs became best friends and began spending all day playing and cuddling together.
Maverick is a smart pup and could sense that Charlie needed help and guidance when exploring places and doing some activities. His energy lifted the older dog’s spirit, and although Charlie was well past his younger, healthier years, the young pup’s presence definitely gave him a new perspective on life, returning him to his playful self, energetic and lively again. . .
