Aliyah Boston Used Three Words To Describe Caitlin Clark After WNBA Award.
Caitlin Clark’s WNBA Rookie of the Year win sparked a ton of fan and player reactions. One of the many people who took to social media to congratulate the star was Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston.
Boston reposted a picture from Bleacher Report that said, “Was there ever a doubt?”
She reacted to Bleacher Report’s post, saying, “What a star,” while adding two emojis with the star eyes.
Clark and Boston combined for one of the best duos in the WNBA. Both players are certainly considered “stars,” with a WNBA All-Star appearance for Boston and Clark in 2024.
Boston finished her second year in the WNBA averaging 14.0 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. She led the Fever in average rebounds and blocks.
While Boston was considered one of the best forwards in the WNBA, Clark was considered one of the best point guards in the league.
The rookie averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists and per game. Clark led all rookies in average points and led the WNBA in average rebounds.
Clark and Boston are both 22 years old. After a year where they led the Fever to the WNBA playoffs as the No. 6 seed in the WNBA standings, they’re surely both “stars” at their own positions.
The young stars were able to lead Indiana to a 20-20 record, helping the Fever earn their first 20-win season since 2015.
