Last week, Young shared more heartwarming images of his quality time with Tydus. The pair were all smiles while enjoying the cooler September temperatures at a local park.
“Me and my mini me, featuring his uncle,” Young posted.
The post garnered 154k likes as Tydus posed adorably and ran around the park.
This isn’t Young’s first time sharing moments with his son on social media. The All-Star guard regularly takes time from his busy schedule to bond with him.
Trae Young talked about the growth brought on by fatherhood
Young said the birth of his first child completely changed his life. Before becoming a dad, he focused solely on improving his basketball skills.
However, in an Atlanta Journal-Constitution interview, he revealed that Tydus’s arrival changed his perspective about everything.
“I mean, [fatherhood] put things into a different perspective for me. Obviously, growing up, basketball is my all day, every day. … When I lose, I’m so hard on myself. … But as a dad, certain things matter more, and that ain’t going to change from what my job is and how important that is to me.
“But my son is the most important thing to me right now. I got another one on the way. They are the most important things to me, for sure.”
