Abandoned by owner because born with only 2 legs
On Christmas Eve 2002 in the US, a little dog was born with a congenital defect. She had only 3 legs, one of which was atrophied and completely unusable.
Perhaps this was the reason why the mother dog abandoned it and refused to give it milk. The owner felt bad when he saw the puppy was born deformed, with only two hind legs, and at the same time, seeing that its health was not good, he thought that he could not save it, so he threw it out on the street.
Luckily, the little dog was found by Mrs. Jude Stringfellow and her daughter and taken home to care for her. After that, the little dog regained consciousness but was still very weak. At that time, everyone thought that this poor dog would not survive.

Therefore, many people suggested that Mrs. Jude Stringfellow should give the poor little dog an injection of euthanasia.
However, Mrs. Jude’s family decided to adopt and care for the dog. At the same time, Mrs. Jude named the little dog Faith – meaning Belief. She hoped that the little dog could keep her faith and do miracles.
Faith’s Journey to Walking on Two Legs
In the early days, Faith struggled with the skateboard that Jude had designed for her. For a long time, Faith had to move by leaning on the skateboard and pushing forward with her hind legs.
However, after that, Mrs. Jude trained Faith to stand upright by doing jumping exercises. This helped Faith’s hind legs become stronger and also made it easier for the dog to maintain balance when standing upright.
After half a year of persistent training, Faith can finally stand up straight and run anywhere she wants on her two hind legs. And one of Faith’s favorite destinations is the park. Here, the dog happily plays with everyone without fear or worry.

The fact that a dog can walk on two legs quickly made Faith the center of attention. After everyone learned about Faith’s story, they were deeply moved and expressed that they could not believe that the little dog had such extraordinary willpower. Therefore, everyone gave Faith immense love and admiration.
The Little Dog and Her Healing Power
Being a dog with a congenital disability but later being able to walk on her own legs, Faith quickly became famous and appeared on many TV shows.
There are also many newspapers reporting about this special dog. Faith even has her own book written about her called “With a Little Faith”.
Later, Faith became a “healing psychologist” and helped alleviate the mental trauma that wounded soldiers suffered after the war. At the same time, she also brought motivation to live and the will to fight against illness to seriously ill patients in the hospital.

Ms. Jude Stringfellow later decided to quit her teaching job and planned to take Faith around the world. With the message she wanted to convey to everyone: “Even if you don’t have a perfect body, remember you can still have a complete soul.”
