Driving down a busy street on a hot summer day, a man noticed a small white lump lying motionless by the side of the road.

The man tried to get him to get up, but the puppy just crawled to a nearby post and lay down in its shadow, trying to hide from the sun.

This helped gain the pup’s trust, which led to finding him a loving forever home.
