Breeding: Breeding takes place from April to June in India. The nest is an open cup constructed from moss, rootlets, bryophytes, plant fibers, and lichens, and is placed in a tree stump, between stones in an eагtһ bank, or attached with gossamer to a rock or overhanging boulder in a stream gully. A typical clutch consists of 2–3 eggs.
