However, her stomach often growled with hunger, craving nourishment to fill her empty belly. Eden’s frail form showed the toll of not having enough food or water, feeling discomfort even when lying down.
Although people walked past and saw her, no one stepped in to help. Eden was left to suffer underneath the tree, where she had been abandoned and where she waited, hopeful for a return that never came.
Eden simply craved affection and warmth, yet all she faced was cold and unsettling nights without anyone to provide comfort. Hearing about this lonely pup, Suzette Hall, the creator of Logan’s Legacy dog rescue in Irvine, California, immediately stepped in to offer her assistance. Recounting the situation, Suzette mentioned, “She remained under that tree for countless weeks, steadfast in her decision not to leave.”
Eden’s weak body perked up when she saw Suzette, showering her with kisses. Despite her frail condition, she still had so much love to give.
Suzette was on a mission to rescue Eden, who was on the verge of fading away beneath the tree where she was found. However, the poor puppy was in such a delicate state that urgent medical attention was required.
After being taken to Camino Pet Hospital in Orange County, California, Eden was given a bath, revealing just how malnourished and sickly she really was. She was nothing but skin and bones, with a severe skin issue that needed immediate treatment.
Life for Eden shifted from surviving under a tree to receiving life-saving care at the hospital.
Eden was now the proud owner of her very own cozy bed, a supply of fresh running water, and scrumptious meals to enjoy. No longer did she have to endure the discomfort of shivering or pain while trying to rest. With each passing day, she was showing signs of progress, and her lovable character was starting to shine through even more.
“Wow, she’s the most adorable dog ever,” Suzette gushed. “She’s all about spreading love.”
Eden was given her designated spot in the hospital kennel, allowing her to recuperate and recover faster. Initially, Eden spent most of her time sleeping, but once she began feeling better, she was eager and active, seeking out affection.
