It is impossible not to cry when you see the tragic situation of abandoned stray dogs. However, not all dog mothers are as brave, tough and protective of their children as Si Bao.
After being “mercilessly abandoned” by her owner, this dog suffered a tragic accident in which her hind legs were crushed by a train. Si Bao’s life seemed bleak until she gave birth to four very beautiful and healthy puppies, which practically became the driving force of this miserable mother dog’s existence.
After regaining the pleasure of living life after having children, Si Bao regained her spirit and always maintained a strong and resilient attitude to take care of her children. Si Bao walked on two front legs, carefully watching the children.
Si Bao’s luck continued to smile when Animals Asia, a non-profit organization founded by Jill Robinson, rescued her family and turned this heroic mother dog into an animal ambassador. As a result, Si Bao has been transferred to the organization’s headquarters, where she can start a new life with her son instead of struggling to make a living from the scraps of food that travelers throw on the train tracks. The only survivor of him is Muddie.
Additionally, Si Bao has been renamed Lelly and plans to install prosthetic legs with wheels to allow him to move more freely. Three of Lelly’s four puppies died of high fever when the organization found them, leaving only Muddie.
Currently, Lelly is living the good life as an animal ambassador for “Animal Asia.”
Although she is just a dog, Lelly exemplifies an unbreakable character that does not give in to difficulties.
