“I’ll slap your punk as* 10 more times”: Dwayne Johnson shows no regrets after insulting Cody Rhodes. – picasso

Yesterday’s WWE SmackDown got heated when The Rock came back after the clash with Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press event in Las Vegas.

All eyes were on The Rock at the WWE SmackDown held at Salt Lake City yesterday. Everyone knew about what went down at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press event. So, they all wanted to hear what he had to say about it. To be clear, the Hollywood star showed no regret.

In yesterday’s showdown, The Rock joined The Bloodline and mocked the Marietta native’s desire for a rematch, saying it’s not how things work in sports. But that’s not all. Before the SmackDown, he also took to X and posted an unapologetic post, showing zero regret.

Dwayne Johnson Seems Unapologetic After Disparaging Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes is heading to WrestleMania 40 to face Roman Reigns, but he’s also dealing with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a new adversary. Fans recall the intense slap The Rock gave to Rhodes at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event.

After the incident, there was a confrontation backstage, too. Johnson also warned Paul Levesque (Chief content officer of WWE) to deal with the Cody situation, or The Bloodline would handle it.

Then, last week on WWE SmackDown, Triple H took shots at the Black Adam star, saying he doesn’t really have power in WWE, even though he’s on the Board of Directors.

Despite everything, the 51-year-old doesn’t seem to show any regret and was eager to join yesterday’s SmackDown. In an unapologetic post, he also threatened to slap the American Nightmare “10 More Times.” Check out the post below:

WWE announced that Reigns and Rhodes will battle for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40. The media event incident hints at a possible tag match with The Rock and Reigns facing off against Rhodes and possibly Seth Rollins.

Dwayne Johnson’s Explained Why He Slapped Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Event

The Rock explained why he slapped Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania 40 media event in Las Vegas. In a post on Instagram, the Great One wrote that Rhodes “f–ked around and he found out quick what happens” for talking about his family:

“I was born into this crazy world and I love every second of it. It’s been decades since pro wrestling has been buzzing like this for WRESTLEMANIA and this has become rare air that we’re all breathing, and it’s very f–king cool & exciting for us, as wrestlers, our company and most importantly—all our fans. Your hero f–ked around and he found out quick what happens when you talk about our family with disrespect. Lines crossed and blurred—bring it. We don’t toe the mark for no one. Road to Wrestlemania begins…”

However, the son of The American Dream didn’t trash-talk The Rock’s family. He just pointed the Bloodline family tree because Roman Reigns kept bringing up Rhodes’s dad, Dusty Rhodes.

The 38-year-old said that if Reigns’ grandfather and Peter Maivia, who is The Rock’s grandfather, saw Reigns today, they’d be ashamed of how he’s treated other Bloodline members in the last two years.

The Rock thought Rhodes was wrong for saying that, which led him to slap him on the face. The Rock also added #longgamer in the caption, hinting that there might be a bigger plan or explanation behind it all.

WrestleMania 40 is scheduled for April 6 and 7 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
