Taylor Swift had an endearing response to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, serenading her with her own song “You Belong With Me” at his team’s Super Bowl afterparty.
In a clip shared on Wednesday, the “Cruel Summer” singer and the Kansas City Chiefs star were seen discussing the moment at the festivities in Zouk Nightclub with Chainsmokers musician Drew Taggart and his girlfriend, model Marianne Fonseca.
Fonseca remarked to Swift, 34, about how Kelce, also 34, swiftly appeared when her song started playing, deeming it “the most romantic thing ever.”
Kelce then shared with Taggart that the timing of the song couldn’t have been more perfect as he coincidentally emerged from the bathroom.
Swift chimed in, describing it as a spontaneous romantic moment where they “met in the middle.”
As Kelce planted a kiss on her cheek, Swift expressed her disbelief at the surreal moment unfolding in her life.
The brief exchange followed a heartwarming interaction between the tight end and Swift at the afterparty. Videos circulated online showed Kelce singing along to “You Belong With Me” from the DJ booth, before locking eyes with Swift in the crowd and dedicating the song to her.
Later in the evening, the couple gazed into each other’s eyes while singing along to an EDM remix of “Love Story,” another one of Swift’s chart-toppers from her 2008 album “Fearless.”
After mouthing the lyrics with smiles, Swift, adorned in Kelce’s sparkling Amiri blazer, embraced her beau and shared a kiss.
Earlier that day, Swift had cheered on Kelce and the Chiefs during their Super Bowl LVIII game against the San Francisco 49ers. She attended the game in a VIP suite, courtesy of Kelce, accompanied by her close friends Ice Spice and Blake Lively.
Following the Chiefs’ victory, Swift joined the team’s friends and family on the field for the celebration. Travis hugged his mother, Donna Kelce, before embracing and kissing Swift.
Expressing his gratitude, the three-time Super Bowl champ thanked Swift for her support and for making the journey from Tokyo to Las Vegas to be with him for the big game, acknowledging her as “the best, baby.”
