People regularly go to tremendous lengths to preserve their best friend’s health, and a girl who braved the deep and hazardous winter to seek help from her pet illustrates once again that love for animals has no limits.
Ogün ztürk, a veterinarian, once traveled to a small town in Turkey to heal a client’s cow. The man didn’t want to stay long; he planned to pick up the phone and return home, but something unexpected changed his plans.
What began as a routine consultation ended in a situation that Ogün would never forget; it profoundly influenced his life as a person and veterinarian.
After doing his work, the veterinarian was about to leave town when something caught his attention in the distance. He noticed a tiny girl walking along a snowy path but she wasn’t alone; she was carrying a magnificent dog.
Cemre Su Türköz, an 8-year-old girl, had allegedly heard of a local veterinarian and couldn’t pass it up. Pamuk, her dog, had fallen ill and needed medical attention, so she decided to trek more than a mile to visit Ogün.
“When I first saw them, I was astounded and affected. She’d wrapped up her pet and taken it about with her.”
As expected, the veterinarian could not refuse the little girl and her sick puppy and proceeded to perform a general check-up. Cemre got anxious, but happily, the puppy’s illness was not too severe, and it was only a matter of acquiring the correct therapy.
According to the vet, Pamuk had a few minor skin issues that made him uncomfortable but nothing to write home about.
“Cemre was pleased to find that his puppy would be well. I gave Pamuk medication. He’s now having fun while being healthy and happy.”
Cemre’s bravery brought him much-needed help for his beloved pet and a new partner.
The veterinarian has visited the village several times since then to check on Cemre and Pamuk and thoroughly inspect the little dog’s health. Ogün ensures they will never have to trek through heavy snow or endanger their lives again to locate help.
Cemre’s amazing endeavor to assist her pet shows her responsibility and bravery.
“I was overjoyed to learn that an eight-year-old child behaves this way and has such a caring heart.”
Furthermore, the veterinarian added that meeting someone so young who exhibits such excellent behavior gives humanity hope.
“Regardless of what is happening in the world, there is still hope.” Cemre proved that love is the only genuine truth in the world.”
Cemre didn’t have to pay the vet doctor for his services that day, but seeing his love and dedication to Pamuk was the best return he could have had.
