The $300m riches of NBA superstar LeBron James was put to good use when he went on a superyacht holiday with his best friend and former teammate, Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat! Actress Gabrielle Union, Wade’s wife, joined him to take in the sunlight of the Bahamas!
During their break from the B-ball season, the celebrities were spotted having fun on the Amarula Sun, a massive 50 meters/164 feet yacht. Wade was probably celebrating his rumored one-year contract extension worth $20m with the Miami Heat (thanks to being ranked All-Star for a cool 11th time – not bad!) and LeBron acknowledging the Cleveland Cavaliers’ much more comfy $23m contract deal.
LeBron was spotted partying with Chris Paul of the LA Clippers and Carmelo Anthony of the Knicks on their lavish vacation!
LeBron had lots of money in the bank from winning two NBA titles, four NBA MVP (Most Valuable Player) Awards, two Olympic gold medals, and an NBA scoring title, so the $220,000 a week price tag of Amurula Sun would have been no hardship! Alongside Bill Hader, he plays himself in the upcoming Judd Appatow comedy “Trainwreck,” which opens in theaters nationwide on July 17. This role also positions him for cinematic stardom.
