Michigan vs. Washington (4.4 million)
On NBC, 4.4 million viewers tuned in to watch the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Huskies clash in a rematch of last season’s national championship game. The Huskies secured a 27-17 home win to get some sort of revenge. This game was close as the Wolverines held a 17-14 lead entering the fourth quarter.
Iowa vs. Ohio State (4.5 million)
CBS had their biggest game on the Week 6 slate as the Iowa Hawkeyes took on the Ohio State Buckeyes. This game was also the most-viewed Big Ten game on the schedule.
The Buckeyes dominated in the second half to win 35-7 after only scoring one touchdown in the first half. This game was a lot closer than people expected at halftime. It certainly added to the intrigue of this game for a while before Ohio State dominated in the third quarter to put it out of hand.
Auburn vs. Georgia (4.9 million)
Having the Georgia Bulldogs on this list after they almost had a massive comeback against the Alabama Crimson Tide the week before makes sense. They were hosting the Auburn Tigers, and this game was a bit closer than people expected after losing for the first time in the regular season in almost four years. Georgia secured a 31-13 home win as almost five million people watched this game.
Tennessee vs. Arkansas (5.3 million)
The most-watched game of Week 6 was another thrilling SEC matchup on ABC. The drama intensified when the Arkansas Razorbacks scored a late touchdown, taking a 19-14 lead with just 77 seconds remaining. With Tennessee positioned on the 21-yard line and only five seconds left, the excitement peaked.
