“Ryan Williams is featuring Ant Man’s motto”: Skip Bayless awestruck by 17 Y/O Alabama WR’s jaw
All eyes, including that of outspoken analyst Skip Bayless, are on the ongoing SEC blockbuster between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. One play got the attention of Bayless.
Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe threw a 54-yard pass from Bama’s 33-yard line to 17-year-old route runner Ryan Williams for 1st down in the third quarter with 3:47 remaining on the clock. Williams hauled in the reception with a pop-up upon contact but secured the ball and added more yardage upon receiving it.
Skip Bayless was in awe of the catch from Ryan Williams, as he wrote on X:
“Ryan Williams is featuring Ant Man’s motto.”
Bayless compared Williams’ fiery energy on display with that of NBA phenom and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards.
That particular offensive drive from Alabama ended with Graham Nicholson making a 28-yard field goal to add three more points, extending Alabama’s lead to 33-15.
Skip Bayless makes early prediction in Georgia vs Alabama SEC game
A couple of hours back, when Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck threw an early interception to Alabama’s Jihaad Campbell who returned it for 24 yards, getting to Georgia’s 24-yard line, Skip Bayless was sold to the idea of Georgia’s loss.
At that point, Georgia was trailing 28-7 to Alabama, with Jalen Milroe’s impressive play on full display.
“What a killer interception by Carson Beck. Felt like Georgia might climb back in it. Nope. Game over. This night belongs to Jalen Milroe. On to Nashville and those doormat ‘Dores!” Bayless wrote on X.
Carson Beck isn’t having a good time on the field. At the time of writing, the Bulldogs quarterback has already thrown for two interceptions. He has passed for 339 yards and two touchdowns on 23 of 41 attempts.
On the other end, Jalen Milroe, Alabama’s quarterback, has thrown for 267 yards on a highly efficient 22 of 26 pass attempts, resulting in one touchdown and one interception. He has also added two rushing scores on 113 yards on 13 carries so far.
