When 33-year-old Jesse Ryan died repeatedly from a brain hemorrhage, medical staff reacted in unexpected ways.
“The owner was so kind to us and allowed us to bring my brother’say goodbye’ so he could understand why his brother had come home.” Rya’s sister Michelle wrote on Facebook: “If you knew my brother you would know how much he loved his precious pup.”
While the video of Rya’s heartwarming moment with his dog Molly was aimed at his immediate family, it quickly became a hit.
“The stories of others, their participation in their pain and the generosity of so many people has impacted and humbled us greatly,” Michelle writes.
Rya’s heartbroken dog Molly is doing just fine, according to Rya’s sister: “Don’t worry about the dog! We’re keeping her!!! She’s a member of the family.” According to Michelle, Rya’s gifted heart will save the 17-year-old’s life just in time for Christmas.
